My Bio
SoCal born and NorCal grown, the textures of urban decay juxtaposed with the vibrant hues of life - in all of its beautiful complexity - is a recurring theme in my Mixed Media work. A mentor once asked me to tear apart a master drawing I completed for him, and make something better from the pieces...I feel like that exercise in impermanence and reconstruction was one of the most valuable lessons I've learned, and continues to influence my process of salvaging beauty from the wasteland of human existence. When I'm not creating works of my own, I work to help others find their creative voice at a local non-profit in Grass Valley: The Neighborhood Center of the Arts.
